Anti-cheat engineer
We are a young anti-cheat company focusing on cloud-based cheat detection for Minecraft, with FiveM and Hytale next. We are in closed beta with multiple large organizations testing our system and helping us improve detections quickly.

What you'll work on
- Designing and implementing cheat detection logic
- Improving detection accuracy and reducing false positives
- Analyzing player behavior and identifying anomalies
- Clean-room cheat reverse engineering
- Work across networking, security, and systems domains
Skills & traits
- Proficient in Java (C# a plus)
- Understand how cheats work (or eager to learn)
- Think creatively and approach problems from multiple angles
- Enjoy experimenting with new tools and techniques
- Can work both collaboratively and independently
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Can commit consistent time to the project
- Able to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Willing to sign an NDA
- Positive reputation in the Minecraft server community
Compensation
We are pre-revenue, so compensation is flexible and negotiated on scope, complexity, and experience. Three structures we already use:
- Per-project pay
- Paid for completed deliverables
- Deferred payment
- Fixed amount agreed upfront, paid at milestone
- Hybrid
- Partial upfront + performance bonus at launch
